Avo-Gato
Design Objective:
Design a simple, visually appealing graphic intended for screen printing on a T-shirt, demonstrating an understanding of color limitations, clean shapes, and how artwork translates effectively onto fabric.
Design Brief:
For this project, I developed a production-ready "Avo-Gato" graphic optimized for screen printing by simplifying the character into bold, solid shapes and clean line work. I selected a limited palette of avocado greens and browns to facilitate efficient color separation while maintaining a high-contrast, visually striking aesthetic. By focusing on scale and technical clarity, I ensured the design remains crisp and legible on fabric, successfully bridging the gap between playful character illustration and the practical constraints of professional garment printing.
